3 ways to program your mind for success

Use theta mediation music.

Many of our subconscious beliefs were formed at an early age when our brains operated in a Theta state. Within a Theta state, we are highly receptive, which is why children are like sponges and learn things very quickly.

But not all the messages we receive as children are positive, and a lot of our limiting beliefs about who we are or what we are capable of are subconscious beliefs that were formed at an early age.

As adults, these beliefs then impact our lives without realising, holding us back from creating the success we want to see.

To change these beliefs and program our minds for success, we can take our brain back into this theta state using theta brainwave music.

Getting into this theta state will provide you with a direct access to program your subconscious mind.

As you expose your brain to theta waves, it gets into a receptive mode, which is why using positive affirmations to accompany theta music can help to program your mind with new, positive beliefs.

Use breathing to access your subconscious.

An alternative way to access the theta state is through breathing.

Follow these steps below to achieve this-

1.Inhale through your nose taking a long deep breath for 4-5 seconds.

2. Let the air go all the way from your lungs into to your stomach so that your stomach expands. Fill your lower stomach with lots of oxygen.

3. Hold the air in your stomach, then let it go back up to your lungs.

4. Then, blow it out for 7 seconds through your mouth.

5. Repeat this process until you find yourself enter a deeply relaxed state. In this state, you will be highly receptive to any messages you hear, so listening to a recording of any positive affirmations you need to hear right now will be super powerful.

The visualisation technique-

The next method starts with choosing your desires outcome and imagine you are watching yourself in a movie, having already created the success and life you desire. Visualise a particular scene in the movie, where you have achieved your goals and dreams. Use as many senses as possible. Pay attention to how achieving your desires makes you feel.

What colours do you see?

What sounds  do you hear?

Who is around you?

Where are you?

What can you see?

Now, do the same thing but rather than watching a movie of you inside your dream life, imagine a still image. You’re looking at YOUR image in the future after you’ve achieved your desires. This is static visualisation – look at your life after your desire is manifested.

What is in the picture?

Is the image framed?

Then, begin to alternate between visualising the video of your dream life and then the image. Switch between the two for about 3 minutes or more, repeating this process every night before you go to bed.

How to listen to the messages of the universe

The Universe is always sending us signs to remind us that we are being supported in our dreams and provides us with subtle nudges about what choices we should make. When we close ourselves off to these messages, we disconnect ourselves from The Universe and therefore the gifts it is trying to send our way.

So how then do we open ourselves up to receiving these messages?

Here are three things to try this week:

Ask The Universe to send you a special signal to let you know you’re on the right path – The messages of The Universe are not always words.

They can also be symbols, objects, people, smells and sounds. Invite The Universe to give you a sign by suggestion a specific signal you’d like to receive.

For example, it could be you ask to hear a particular song, or see a specific type of bird. Try and pick something that you would not normally see.

Write down a question you would like guidance to and then meditate on this question.

The Universe can be heard the loudest when we are quiet. In meditation, pay attention to anything that comes up for you.

Activate your crown chakra – the crown chakra is linked to our connection with The Universe.

To do this, wear violet colours or carry a crystal designed to activate this chakra such as Amethyst.

5 habits of successful women

As I have moved through my entrepreneurial journey, I’ve become obsessed with diving into what helps women create exponential growth as business owners and have spent a lot of time and money learning all I can to help myself reach my fullest potential.

What I love is that I am then able to pass this wisdom on to the women I then serve to help them fully step into their power too.

One thing I’ve learned along the way is that creating success is not just about hitting a certain goal, it’s about who you ARE through the process.

You have to BECOME the woman you need to be to get you to where you want to go, which requires you adopting the habits of someone who is already achieving the level of success you want to see.

From very early on in my business, I knew that if I wanted to make the impact I wanted to as a coach and business owner, I’d need to step into that role of a leader and adopt a new set of habits that would support me in that growth.

I began to look at what other successful women had in common and began to incorporate their habits and behaviours into my own life too.

Here are the 5 habits which I believe have truly had a huge impact on my own growth.

Mediation – It is often something that people claim not to have the time for, but the interesting thing is that meditation actually allows you to claw back time in your day.

I find the clarity I get through meditation can turn a 1 hour task into a ten minute task. Not only that, but it helps me overcome fears and doubts which often lead to procrastination. Meditation has now become second nature to me and something I and many other successful women do daily.

Stand on the shoulders of giants – Starting my business, I quickly realised that the women who were achieving incredible things had not gone alone. They had been led by someone who’d already created the level of success they wanted to see.

The quickest, most efficient route from A to B is by following the path that someone else has already walked, which is why I continue to invest time and time again into coaches and mentors to support me.

Visualisation – Getting total clarity on what I want and more importantly, what it will FEEL like having it is something I practice daily.

When I was still in a job, trying to take my business full time, every morning I would imagine what life would look like and how I would feel being the successful business owner, working for myself and on my terms.

Embodying all of those feelings as vividly as possible helped me get into the energy of already being in possession of my desires, which is the fastest way to manifest something into existence.

Gratitude – One of my favourite phrases is “be thankful for what you have whilst working for what you want”.

Whilst starting out, it felt like I had nothing to be thankful for, yet I knew that in that space of lack (not enough money/time/freedom/joy)I would only create more lack.

To receive abundantly, I needed to be in the receptive mode, which meant giving thanks to everything in my life, including the things I was yet to receive.

I practice gratitude daily and this habit has stuck with me because I know that gratitude is a magnet for success and abundance.

My morning goddess ritual – This is a daily habit I will practice each morning without fail as it makes me feel like a goddess and I know it has had a huge impact on my business success.

The ritual involves reading, (normally this consists of a few pages from whatever inspiring book I’m reading at the time) journalling, (this will often be about my goals or giving gratitude for things in my life) meditation, (at least twenty minutes per day) exercise, (normally a few quick rounds of sun salutations) and drinking a green juice (normally pure celery juice).

I will then also say a few affirmations about what I want or who I want to be before spending five to ten minutes looking at my vision boards.

I find that this routine helps me raise my vibration first thing and this energy then supports me through the rest of the day.

5 ways to overcome the fear

It is the thing that holds us back from pursuing our dreams.

It is the thing that causes us to *dabble* with our desires rather than going all in.

It is the thing that can lead us to giving up on our dreams all together.

We are talking about The Fear of failure….here’s how to overcome it.

Recognise that you aren’t meant to be FEARLESS, but you do need to be prepared to act in spite of your fears. It’s not that successful and confident women don’t have fears.

The difference is that they don’t allow their fears to hold them back. Rather than waiting to be without fear before you act, recognise that the fear will always exist, especially if stepping into the unknown and the quickest way to neutralise the fear is to act sooner rather than later.

Often, we build our fears up to be far bigger than what they need to be. It takes action sometimes to realise that our biggest fears were totally unfounded.

Get breathing – Fear has a physical impact on your body. When we fear something, our heart will race and our breath will quicken.

Rather than trying to change the fear internally, try and control the physical response to fear.

Do this by focusing on your breath. Take 7 big breathe in through the mouth followed by eleven breathes out through the nose. Do this for thirty seconds and see how it reduces your feelings of fear.

Start re-affirming your success. What you focus on expands and you create more of in your life.

So if you are constantly thinking “this won’t work”, chances are it won’t.

Start programming your mind to believe in your success using positive affirmations such as “I’m a successful entrepreneur” or “I’m amazing at what I do” or “Everything always works in my favour.”

Use visualisation to imagine how you want things to go. Often, we focus on all of the things that could go wrong, which heightens the sense of fear.

Change the narrative by spending some time in the creative visualisation process. Close your eyes and conjure up an image of the best possible outcome.

Try and get as detailed as possible.

What are you wearing? How do you talk? How do you walk into the room? Imagine how you want to show up once you’ve already created the success you want?

Weigh up the fear of change Vs the fear of staying the same.

What is scarier?

Taking action?

Or regret?

In doing this, you may realise that it would be far scarier to stay where you are.

5 gratitude practices

Gratitude is a magnet for miracles and is something that should form a part of your daily ritual in order to raise your vibration and manifest more abundance into your life.

Below, we explore some of our favourite ways to practice gratitude.

Turn gossip into gratitude – When catching up with friends, how often do you find yourself having a moan about work/relationships/money?

Next time you catch up, try changing the dialogue by everyone stating one thing they’ve been grateful for that week. It’s amazing how much better you will all feel because of it!

Recognise every tiny gift – The Universe is constantly sending you reasons to be grateful, yet so often we ignore them.

If you want to receive more abundance in your life, you have to start paying attention to where The Universe is already supporting you. Find a penny? Pick it up and thank The Universe!

Manage to get the last parking space in the car park? Thank The Universe! The more thanks you give, even for the tiny stuff, the more you will receive.

Go on a gratitude walk – Take yourself out in nature and give thanks to everything that is around you. Give thanks to the trees, the grass, the birds, the fresh air.

We have so much around us every day to be grateful for, yet these things are often overlooked.

Give thanks to the things you want as if you already have them. You don’t need to just focus on the things you already have as part of your gratitude practice.

In addition, thank The Universe for all of your desires, imagining that they are already in possession.

Stating things such as “I’m so grateful I’ve a successful business” even if you are not there yet, helps you create the feeling of already having your desires and it is from this place, you are able to manifest your desires more effortlessly into your life.

At the end of each day, write what you were most grateful for that day on a piece of paper and put it into a jar. At the end of the month, go through the jar and read through all of your blessings for that month.

5 ways to practice self love

Self love is not just about bubble baths and mani/pedis.

Whilst those things are lovely, true self love goes much deeper than this.

True self love is a process of inner discovery, identifying what you really want and allowing yourself to go for it unapologetically.

True self love is about silencing your inner mean girl so that you can be, do and have anything you desire.

True self love is about transforming your energy so you feel amazing on the inside.

True self love is about acknowledging every part of you and allowing your true self to be seen and heard without fear or judgement.

Below we explore some of our favourite self love practices to help you unleash your inner goddess.

  • Embrace your emotions – Self love doesn’t need to always look like rainbows and unicorns. It’s important that we don’t deny out emotions, even the negative ones. Acknowledging when you are hurting is not a weakness, but a necessary part of the healing process. Sometimes, self love may look like punching a pillow, screaming in a field or having a good cry. It’s important to let those negative emotions out rather than suppressing them below the surface.

  • Allow yourself to dream big by asking yourself “what would I do if failure wasn’t an option?” Write down anything that comes up for you. So often we set our goals based upon what is realistic but true self love is about opening up your mind to what is possible for you.
  • Start saying “no” to the people and things that don’t light you up. Self love is about setting proper boundaries and understanding what does and does not deserve your time and energy. If you said “no” to something, what would it allow you more time for? What could you do with that time that would be beneficial to you? It’s not selfish, it’s called self care! Remember that you cannot pour from an empty cup so it’s important you carve out adequate boundaries to make sure your own needs are being served.
  • Speak your truth – so often we hold back from speaking our minds because of fear of being judged or criticised or offending others. Self love is about allowing your authentic self to be heard. How have you been holding yourself back recently and what can you do this week to make sure what you need to say is said?
  • Carry Rose Quartz – This crystal stimulates compassion and increases your ability to love yourself. Carry around with you at all times.

5 ways to raise your vibration

We are all made up of energy and, like everything on the planet, we all have our own vibrational frequency.

We are a magnet to the things we are a vibrational match to.

If our energy is a high frequency, we attract high vibe people, experiences and things into our life.

If our energy is vibrating at a lower frequency, we are more likely to attract negative people, experiences and things into our life.

Ever had one of those days where things just seem to go from bad to worse? That’s your energy.

This is why it’s super important to pay attention to your own vibrational frequency on a daily basis, but what are some of the best ways to raise your vibe?

We asked some of our students for their best tips:

Alice –  Self Love Coach for Mums.

“My favourite practice for raising my vibration is to focus on eating high vibe foods. Every food has its own frequency and fresh, clean fruit and veg vibrate at a higher level. What you put into your body has a huge impact on the things you manifest into your life. I spent a week eating just fruit and veg and not only did I feel more high vibe, but I also witnessed lots of wonderful manifestations show up in my life.”

Nicki – Confidence coach for career women.

“Your vibe is affected by your tribe which is why it’s so important to surround yourself with women who lift you up. Pay attention to who you give your energy to and make sure you have a network of women around you who support you in your dreams and goals and who are positive minded.”

Zahra – Mindset coach for female entrepreneurs.

“Get out in nature – it solves a multitude of ills. If you are feeling negative, anxious, fearful or even just tired, take yourself out on a walk. It costs nothing and is a quick way to boost your vibration. Try and go without your phone so you can be really mindful of your surroundings.”

Lexi – Sales coach.

“Gratitude is a magnet for miracles. The more you are thankful for what you have, the more The Universe will deliver more to you. Gratitude is a quick way to turn “I don’t have enough” into “I’m incredibly abundant and have all I want and more”, which is a great way to raise your vibe. Give thanks to the things you already have in your life, but also to the things you want as if you already have them.”

Erika – “Relationship coach”

“Self visualisation helps me a lot to raise my vibration. I imagine not only who I want to be but the life I want to live and get as detailed as possible with that. Coming back to this vision allows me to raise my vibration as I get excited for the person I’m becoming and the life I’m creating. I conjure up the emotions of already living the life I desire, tricking my mind to believe that this is already my reality. I do this process every morning and every evening.”

Questions to connect with your authentic self

Take the time to ask yourself these questions in order to connect with your higher self…

What would I do if I knew I couldn’t fail?

How am I really?

What do I feel like I need more of right now?

What do I need less of right now?

How would I behave if I were the best in the world at what I do?

Am I finding my dream job, or am I creating it?

Why am I worth knowing?

When was the last time I did something for the first time?

If knew the answer was “yes” what would I ask for?

What is my perfect day?

As a child, who did I want to be when I grew up?

What is my biggest strength?

What is my biggest weakness?

What are my regrets?

Where am I too hard on myself?

How to adopt a growth mindset

Instead of thinking:

I can’t do this.

Think this instead:

What am I missing?

Instead of thinking:

I’m not smart enough

Think this instead:

I will learn how to do this.

Instead of thinking:

This is as good as it is going to get.

Think this instead:

Is this really my best work? I can always improve.

Instead of thinking:

I give up

Think this instead:

I’ll try a different strategy and try again.

Instead of thinking:

This is too hard

Think this instead:

This may take some time and effort

Instead of thinking:

I made a mistake

Think this instead:

Mistakes help me to improve.
